o This piece from the summer reading focused on how the townspeople of Concord might not have been the outstanding patriots they have been made out to be historically. The selection was used in the classroom before we began the study to help foster a degree of skepticism and inquiry into the students before we began our work. We were discussing how history can be skewed based on the writer or tellers point of view.

o The pamphlet was used to help build background for the events that happened on Lexington Green. It was used to help place where the Regulars and Militia were before, during, and after the battle. It was used during the outdoor re-enactment piece of the point of view lesson.
o This website provided valuable information about the events on Lexington Green on April 19, 1775. It includes information about the British Regulars and Lexington Militia. The site also includes copies of Amos Doolittle engravings. The site was used as part of a class web quest and was straight forward and easy for the students to use.
o This website provided information about the events on Lexington Green on April 19, 1775. It includes information about a member of the Lexington Militia from Woburn. The site was used as part of a class web quest where the students were asked to find an account of a member of the militia from our hometown of Woburn.
o This website provided eyewitness statements from the battle on Lexington Green. The site provided testimony from both sides involved in the battle. It was very useful in helping to establish differing points of view.
o This website provided eyewitness accounts through text and video. It is a wealth of information including, text, video, maps, music, clothing, etc. The site also provided other resources that could be used. It was the most popular site with the students because it was interactive.
o This website provided eyewitness testimony and documents from all periods of American History. It provided my class with more eyewitness accounts from both sides that could be used to support points of view.
